About The Neumann & Kuntz Family
On January 12, 2013 the last and longest living of the eight Neumann children passed away. Ruth Johanna Neuamnn Williams was 94 years old. She endured a lot of heartache in her last years but stayed strong and wise until the very end. She is at home with her family at last but is so dearly missed by all of us who loved her so.
AUG. 2012 - In the near future I plan to edit and add to this site even more names, history and
photos. I also want to link this site to a similar one on ancestry.com.
Ruth is now 94 and in the past 12-18 months has had several health issues. Although she is frail,
her mmory is still long and she talks often of her loved ones that have passed with great joy. She
still lives "semi" independatly in a small house right next door to mine. It is really a blessing
to have her so close.
In 1993 Carole J. Peters Freeburn compiled a detailed history of the Neumann/Kuntz
family tree. She was very thorough in her research and the end product was beautiful
book that included copies old birth certificates, maps and photographs. I am using a
copy of Carole's book to input all the names and dates onto this website for all of
our families to use and share.
My Grandmother, Ruth Johanna Neumann Williams, is the youngest and last surviving
child of Charles and Maryanna Neumann. At 91 years old her mind is clear and sharp
and
she remembers many details and sorted stories of our family's early history. I urge
all of you to keep in touch with her. I have included her email address in her
profile - yes, she does do email!
I began inputing names and dates a few months ago. I am aware that there are certain
last names and dates missing. If you come across any of these missing items and can
fill in the blanks for me please send me the information so I can correctly add it to
the site. Also - since Carole finished this book there has been another whole
generation born I'm sure. Please email me with all your updated family members so
that
we can make this website as complete as possible. I will work on updating this site
periodically. I hope in the future to post photos - old and current as well as scan
the old maps and certificates for all to see.
Several of us cousins and cousins-once-removed (Sheri, Jill, Daryl, Barbara Jo,
Debbie, Denise, Linda and Diane) have been in contact these past few years over the
internet and through Facebook. It's a real treat to get to know your family again -
as
friends. Please join us! Sheri Lynn Jensen

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
